Mara Rafael:

"I was born and educated in Portugal, and a few years ago I moved to the Mediterranean island of Malta.

I spent five years in Malta, where I gained experience as a Legal Counsel, Compliance Counsel, MLRO, and Data Protection Advisor for various multinational companies operating in regulated sectors such as Financial Markets, Sports Betting and Online Casinos, NGOs, International Organizations, Public Institutions, Regulatory Authorities, and more.

Later on, I founded my own consultancy firm, through which I’ve supported clients from over 10 countries with contract and compliance matters across more than 20 jurisdictions.

My purpose has always been to create real impact in both business and people’s lives through specialized and trustworthy consulting"
